Commercial & Industrial (C&I)

Since its inception, SolarShams mastered implementing roof top solar PV power plants in Commercial & Industrial buildings. Electric energy generated from a roof top can be used for self-consumption or net metering. In all cases this results in considerable savings on the energy bill depending on the available roof space.

Industrial roofs are complicated and require design capabilities to integrate solar plants on top of them. SolarShams leads the industrial roof top market in Egypt. Additionally, installing systems on industrial roof tops requires the implementation of H&S measures by skilled personnel working at heights.

SolarShams successfully engineered and built several industrial roof top solar PV plants in Egypt, at the highest international standards. A typical industrial roof top power plants ranges from 0.2 MWp to 2 MWp. Commercial buildings roofs such as hospitals, schools, administration buildings, airports, clubs…etc, may result in smaller systems due to limited roof space compared to industrial rooftops.

A concrete flat roof of a building can easily also integrate a centralized Solar Water Heating system that could result in considerable savings on utility bills. All water heating needs of the building can be met from the sun.

Commercial buildings such as hotels, resorts and clubs, which also have a pool can take advantage of the special SolarShams engineered solar pool heating that can extend the seasonal use of pools for more months yearly or have a considerable saving on conventional gas or electric pool heating systems. SolarShams can easily integrate the solar pool heating system to any existing pool heating or filtering system.
