In Egypt we currently focus on generating electricity using solar PV technology and heat using solar thermal technologies.
We install solar PV plants on rooftops of buildings and factories. The electricity generated from the solar plant could be sold to the grid, self-consumed or net-metered against the consumption. Utility scale PV plants are the same in principle, however, the size of the plant is typically bigger, while the energy off-taker is usually the Government.
On solar water heating, we design and install solar water and solar pool heating systems for domestic and industrial applications.
